The Event Payment Hub
Paycilo acts as the Financial Hub for Your Event. You create a profile specific to the occasion (e.g., paycilo.com/@SarahAndTomWedding). On this page, you can list specific “Items” using our Channels feature:
- “Wedding Gift” – Open amount.
- “Hotel Booking” – Fixed amount ($150).
- “Aso-ebi / Uniform” – Fixed amount ($50).
Guests visit the link, select exactly what they are paying for, and initiate the transfer. The payment reference automatically includes the item name (e.g., “Hotel-JohnDoe”), making your reconciliation process effortless.
Safety for Guests
Guests are often wary of sending money to personal accounts they don’t recognize. A branded Paycilo page with a photo of the couple or the event logo builds trust. It confirms they are paying the right person for the right reason.
Post-Event Transparency
For charity galas or community fundraisers, transparency is key. Because Paycilo logs every “Payment Intent,” you can easily export a list of everyone who said they paid, making it easy to cross-reference with your bank statement and thank your donors.
