Do I need a wallet or balance inside Paycilo?
No. Paycilo is not a wallet. All payments go straight to your bank account, mobile money wallet or any payout method you add.
Can Paycilo link directly to my WhatsApp number?
Yes. You can create a Paylink that automatically opens WhatsApp so customers can message you and pay without asking for account details.
What are Channels in Paycilo?
Channels let you create separate Paylinks for different uses such as business sales, donations, side hustles or personal transfers. Each channel has its own settings and payment accounts.
Can each Channel use a different bank account?
Yes. You can assign any bank account or payment method to each Channel to keep your earnings separated and organised.
Can I see which Channel a payment came from?
Yes. Every transaction is tagged with the Channel where it originated so you always know what was paid, where and why.
How many Channels can I create?
Free users can create a limited number of Channels. Premium subscribers can create unlimited Channels for different projects or income streams.
Can I add multiple bank accounts to my Paycilo profile?
Yes. You can add as many bank accounts as you need and customers will choose the one they prefer during checkout.
Does Paycilo show my full account number to customers?
No. Your full details are protected. Customers only see what is necessary to complete the transfer.
What payment methods does Paycilo support?
Paycilo supports bank transfers, mobile money, approved payment providers and optional crypto payments depending on your region.
Is crypto payment supported on Paycilo?
Yes. Crypto payments can be enabled for supported countries. Payout is made to the wallet address you configure.
Can I restrict which accounts appear on my Paylink?
Yes. You can toggle visibility for each bank or wallet and choose the default payment option for customers.
Can I set fixed prices for items or services?
Yes. Channels allow you to add preset amounts customers can tap instantly, useful for products, services or donations.
Can customers choose their own amount?
Yes. Unless you lock an amount, customers can decide how much they want to pay.
Does Paycilo charge my customers any fees?
No. Paycilo does not add extra charges to the sender. Any network or banking fee depends on the sender’s bank.
Can I use Paycilo for business payments?
Yes. Paycilo is ideal for SMEs, freelancers, creators, consultants, physical vendors and online sellers.
Can I use Paycilo for personal payments?
Yes. Many users create Channels for rent, family contributions, gifts, loans, and other personal collections.
How do I track payments?
Your dashboard shows each transaction, payment method used, Channel, account credited and customer details when available.
Does Paycilo help with bookkeeping?
Yes. Transaction logs can be filtered by Channel, payment method, bank account or date. Export to CSV is also available.
Is my Paycilo link permanent?
Yes. You can use the same Paylink forever unless you manually change it.
Can I customise my Paycilo page?
Yes. You can add your photo, bio, business description, preset items and multiple payment methods.
Does Paycilo work outside Nigeria?
Yes. Paycilo supports international users though payment options vary by region.
Do I need documentation to open a Paycilo account?
No. Individuals can start immediately. Business verification unlocks additional features but is optional.
Can scammers use my Paycilo link?
Scammers cannot withdraw money or access your banking details. Your Paylink is receive-only and hides your sensitive information.
Does Paycilo reduce fraud risk?
Yes. It removes the need to share account numbers publicly, prevents edited screenshots and helps customers verify genuine accounts.
What if my bank is down or not receiving transfers?
You can add multiple banks. If one provider is slow, customers can select another instantly.
Can I delete or disable a Channel?
Yes. You can disable or archive Channels without affecting your main Paylink.
How do I receive payments from my Paylink?
Your customer completes a transfer using their own bank app or wallet, and the money goes directly to your account.
Does Paycilo process or hold my money?
No. Paycilo never touches or stores your money. Payments are processed by banks, mobile money or third-party processors.
Can I open a Paycilo link for donations?
Yes. Create a Channel with a title, brief purpose and optional preset amounts. Share it across your platforms.
Can I receive payments through QR codes?
Yes. Every Channel includes a QR code that links to the same payment page.
Do I get notifications for payments?
Yes. You receive real-time updates via WhatsApp, email or in-app notifications depending on your settings.
Can I connect Paycilo to my website?
Yes. You can embed your Paylink or Channel link directly on your site or generate a QR code for offline use.
Can customers pay anonymously?
Yes. Bank transfers may not always include customer details, but Paycilo still records the attempt for your tracking.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my subscription anytime?
